POSTED DATE 11-9-08 : Lost Tiny female Yorkie/mix baby. She is predominately black & white with a pinkish brown spotted belly and is very spoiled who answers to Bella. We lost her during Hurricane Ike evacuation to Austin. When she disappeared from our hotel room 150 at the Wyndham Garden Hotel on I-H 35 South @ Woodward. This happened September 19th at approximately 3:00pm in the afternoon.
An eyewitness stated that she ran off the property after house keeping tried to catch her. She supposedly crossed over
I-H 35 South on Woodward St. where 3 homeless men working the corners saw her dart down Woodward street and disappear into the woods behind St. Edward’s College.
After scouring the hotel complex and the woods behind St. Edward’s College we went over to Blunn Creek Apartments where the grounds keeper said he saw her and a resident stated that he saw her Friday evening approximately 11:00 pm around some dumpsters in the back left area of the Blunn Creek Apartments behind Apartment building 8. Another resident stated that she saw Bella around 8:00pm Saturday evening around the picnic around in the center of the complex and thought she just belonged to one of the residents. She did NOT have on a collar because we had just bathed her the same day she disappeared. We bathed her Sept.19th around 1:00pm and she disappeared around 3:00pm. Housekeeping opened our door and Bella escaped while we were at the front office paying our hotel bill.
We filed a police report with officer R. Driskoll and have not heard anything as of yet. There is a substantial reward for her return. Bella is very prissy and has to be the center of attention. She does not come to strangers and will bark at them. Whoever picked her up did so after she became tired and hungry. We hand fed Bella with powdered mother’s milk until she became older to eat baby food then on to regular food. She knows no other mother than myself and I no other baby than she. Please, Please help me!

UPDATE 3-5-08 Chewlo has been found !! A group of wonderful neighbors in Balcones Woods had been leaving water, food and shelter out for the stray dog that they noticed on their street for the past two days. Another dog lover of that neighborhood noticed the stray also, and happend to check LOSTADOG.com . She recongzied the dog from the pictures I posted, and called my number. Chewlo is now safe.

I've posted about 400 flyers, placed an ad in the Statesman, on Craig's List and several other websites as well as checked with both Town Lake and Williamson County Animal Shelters. She has been missing since Mon, 1/29/07 around the Wells Branch / Thermal / Benchmark / Howard Lane area. The area is an industrial area close to Northwest Elementary School. | POSTED DATE 1-15-07 : Lost on 12/26/06-The day after Christmas Max escaped from the back yard. A neighbor and construction crew say he ran down to the corner of Newfield and Watchhill to play with the corner dog and got distracted by a cat. Then he was seen at the Windsor/Hartford intersection walking along the retaining wall. Someone may have picked him up. This was around 3 p.m. on the 26th. He may be in another part of town by now. He has a very loud howl. If any of your neighbors have a new dog that howls and bays at anything in sight, that might be our Max. If you have any additional information, please let us know. Max does have an AVID microchip and is neutered.
Additional Information:
He weighs 30 lbs., has white legs with brown freckles, brownish/blonde ears with one white stripe down the middle of his face, black back with a white mark on his rear end that has three black dots inside. He hurt his leg in November and is still on his medication. Please let us know if you have seen him or may have heard him. Ask friends, co-workers, your children, and your postmaster. Thanks!

| POSTED DATE 11-2-06 : Hi Austin community - please help!
Sometime between 12noon and 4pm my wonderful dog Cain disappeared from the property, despite a locked gate! I'm hoping somehow he just wandered off (unusual for him) and some caring person turned him into the pound, but please let me know if you've heard or seen anything.
He's a "blue" pit with a blue/grey coat, about 75lbs, has white markings on his nose, chest and feet, and is incredibly friendly. He answers to "Cain", although he's not wearing a collar due to his being washed the night before.

| POSTED DATE 10-9-06 : Our dog Tex escaped from a crack under our back yard fence on Thursday, September 21 around 9pm. He is a Chihuahua/ Rat Terrier Mix. He is brown with a white underbody. He has a white line down the center of his eyes. He was last seen wearing a red collar. He is very sweet and playful. We live in the Villages of Hidden Lake around lake Pflugerville. | POSTED DATE 9-26-06 : We returned from church Sunday (24th) to find our Belgian Malinois, “Autumn” missing. The back gate was open. We searched the neighborhood and questioned the neighbors. Someone reported seeing a dog that fit her description hit by a car on Duval near Davis Elementary in the Mesa Park neighborhood. But it got up and limped away. We continued to search but have not been able to find her.
Autumn is 5 ˝ years old and is commonly mistaken for a German Sheppard mix. She is fixed. And has also shed her collar, so she is not wearing her tags, but may be wearing a “choke” chain. She is friendly, but may be hurt and we are very worried.

| UPDATE 9-10-06 THIS DOG IS HOME. POSTED DATE 9-10-06 : She is a very friendly chihuahua/yorkshire terrier mix puppy, dark brown with some silvery strands. She's very muscular. Accidently got locked out by owner, who is deaf. No collar was on her at the time. We live in Waters Park apartment complex off of West Parmer Lane. Missed greatly. Missing Dog. Travis County. Central Texas.

| POSTED DATE 9-10-06 : This is Peanut. She dug out of our yard early Sept 7.We live in a new subdivision off East Riverside near highway 71. I'm a mess looking for her and hope to find her soon. She weighs 6-8 lbs, is 6 months old and has a cowlick on her neck.You can reach me at 512-619-5342.

| POSTED DATE 9-6-06 : Matty was last seen on Monday September 4, 2006 at 4 pm on Hewitt Ln. Hewitt Ln is at the southern end of Brodie Lane in South Austin/Manchaca. Brodie runs into 1626 that comes through Manchaca. We are assuming that she was headed away from the shotgun happy neighbors, that would put her headed southwest towards Buda, Marbridge or possibly west then north on Brodie into Shady Hollow.
She is a 14 years old but in fantastic health, slightly grey chin but all black fur. She is medium size, 40 lbs, has pointed ears, a black tongue, brown eyes and is very gentle with people and other animals. This is a first for her and I. So, with her age in mind, I really want to get her home.

| UPDATE 9-5-06 THIS DOG IS HOME. POSTED DATE 8-29-06 : Please post. Lola, spayed female dog, 30 lbs, white hound with black ears and black eyes with blue in them got out of the backyard at MLK & Springdale, Austing on 8/25/06. Her traveling friend Lucy was found, but now Lola is on her own. She had tags and a color.

| POSTED DATE 8-26-06 : Sparkle left the backyard on Coastal Drive in South Austin near
Brodie and Deer Ln sometime Sunday 8/20/06 and hasn't been seen
since. She was wearing a green collar with
simulated diamonds. She is very friendly and loves to play fetch. We
found her as a stray only a month and a half ago and would really
like her back. If you see her or know what happened to her please
